Antioch Christian School strives to help students to demonstrate positive behavior traits and develop Godly character. In the event that a student makes poor decisions with regard to his/her behavior and character, disciplinary action will result.
1. If a student receives four (4) or more infractions by the end of the day, he/she will
receive a Detention to be served and/or completed on or by the following day.
2. Detentions may vary depending on the number of infractions. Antioch Christian School
staff reserves the right to choose the disciplinary action based on the specific
misbehavior.
3. Examples of detentions to be served:
Stay in or sit a desk during recess.
Stay after hours for 30 minutes and sit quietly.
Stay after hours and write sentences, lessons, or essays.
4. Examples of detentions to be completed:
Memorize a passage (to be recited the next day).
Writes sentences, lessons, or essays at home (due the next day)
5. Two (2) Detentions in one week will result in a meeting with the Principal or
Administrator to decide further disciplinary measures.
6. SUSPENSIONS: In the event of extreme misbehavior,
students may receive a suspension. Suspensions may be
served either at home or in school depending on the
decision of the Head Teacher and Principal or
Administrator.
7. INTOLERANCE RULES: Antioch Christian School will not tolerate the following
misbehavior at any time:
The above stated misbehaviors will result in immediate dismissal from the
classroom. The teacher, Administrator and/or Principal will call the parent and
decide on appropriate discipline.
8. If a student fails to serve or complete a Detention, it will be given to the student the
next day, only the discipline will be doubled.
